INDUSTRIAL PROJECTS IN AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING

The main objective of the chair is the conception and establishment of new research and Development trends within the field of Energy systems, Materials and manufacturing technology in order to enhance cooperation between the university and the automotive industry.

Undergraduate and potential post-graduate students are hereby invited to participate in developing Industrial Projects with the specific view of solving problems in Automotive Engineering. The work may contribute towards your formal qualification (Design Projects lll, Industrial Project lV etc) or a post graduate degree.   
 

15Racing project

Master's and PhD students act as mentors for students working on Industrial projects. Past and current research projects include:

  • Automation and de-automation in the production process
  • Quality assurance
  • Optical measurements
  • Intelligent control concepts for automotive air-conditioning systems
  • Production simulation
  • Mobile robot development
